just noticed the DOA6 Arcade page had this: been waiting for this kind of official picture since forever, sort of as a guideline, and now that I see it... nahhh although it's close enough to my own: 1 clockwise "rotation" of all the buttons except keep AP as is, and that's muh layout lol- WAZAAAAA

if my personal DOA2O experience is anything to go by... the old Asian channel mostly made of China and Taiwan players would almost exclusively play the Chinese trio Leifang/Jann Lee/Gen Fu (with a bunch of Hayabusa on the side) -

Anyone know how to swap character movesets?
uhh I think there's an easier way the excellent MicroKnightmare took my barebones moveset swapper CT and improved upon it + kept it up-to-date. You just freeze a bunch of values corresponding to the proper character ID and you're good to go...- WAZAAAAA

for xemu try the .xiso.iso format, Vimm's Lair has them but if you want decent performance you should be using Cxbx-R anyway, and those need .xbe files to boot. You obtain those by extracting those .xiso.iso files using extract-xiso.exe (usage: drag'n'drop the .xiso.iso into the .exe)- WAZAAAAA
