Did you catch my "edit" in the other thread? I saw that the GPU was getting downclocked, and mentioned that it being just one more thing putting it behind PS4 spec-wise in hardware.

Of course, it's easy for PC to be lead platform right now over pre-release dev kits for the consoles. But yeah, with the hardware architecture being highly similar across the three (PC, PS4, X1), it can probably be expected that many games will be PC-focused, then ported over to consoles...

All that stuff is inevitable. And it is better to have the bulk of it centered within this thread than have people creating new threads every time something "exciting" happens or gets announced.

Unless I'm mistaken (I never played KI2/KI Gold to know its story in-depth), I recall the KI2 story mentioning that in the first tournament, Glacius killed Cinder, Spinal killed Chief Thunder, and Sabrewulf killed Riptor.

LOL @ fighting games (almost) always bringing back "dead" characters! IIRC, Cinder was "killed" by Glacius in the KI (1st game) story. Granted, they can easily just say the Cinder in this game is a new guy put through the same process that "created" the original Cinder. Now let's see them...

From what I've seen, both PS4 and X1 CPUs were initially said to be 2GHz ... until rumors starting flying about the X1's yield issues leading to a downgrade to 1.6GHz. [EDIT] In any case, CPU downgrade, GPU downgrade, yield issues, etc. ... the X1 is a hot mess right now.

Only the X1 is "rumored" to have its CPU downgraded to 1.6GHz. PS4 is still at 2Ghz, since they aren't the ones having yield problems.
