Some of the highlights regarding T8 Dev talk. Like the ghost stuff & some of the practice mode features.

Not looking bad. Ghost battle looks a bit more engaging, which would be a big plus compared to Tekken 7's treasure battle if the a.i. is solid enough and having tekken ball's cool (if it has online even better).

Looks like there can be a more integrated story with more character involvement. Classic returns such as Steve, Yoshimitsu, Bears, Dragunov and return of Shaheen & Leo (shockingly). 32 characters, let's see who else gets introduced but the game looks decent.

Idk if this was posted but from the beta, here are the different heat systems showcased. I like Jin's, Kazuya's, Jun's, & Lili's. Lars isn't bad either. But here's everyone's stuff so far...

Looking at SF VI's world tour & that create a character joint looks better than even some sports games. Idk if we treading into SC & 2000's WWE tier with that. Plus I don't know if we can create a move-set with it. But from what I saw, I am highly impressed.

I predict early-mid 2024 if the pace is consistent. It'd be 30 years for Tekken (unless you don't count the arcade release.). But at the same time, I can see either as early as late 2023 or as late as some 2025 or 2026 timeline.

I think Miguel's possible with Shaheen (More-so Miguel). Story-wise, they both kinda serve as adversaries to Jin & Kazuya so there's a possibility. To be fair to Tekken 8, from what has been said so far, the game has been well received. Much of the content creators that were invited had mostly positive feedback (some critiques as well but no game is perfect). And I think Aris made a good point saying the game plays and looks much better...

So from what I heard (and kinda seen with the gameplay videos): 1. RA being -13 kinda sucks but some i13 punishes did kill in T7 so I think it's possible that they might balance around that. 2. Magic 4's don't launch. Huge nerf to characters like Lee, Law, Jin, etc. 3. No more knockdown wake up...

Judging the tekken 8 trailers so far... Kazuya > Lars > Jin > Law > King > Paul > Nina > Jack 8

Ngl, the SFVI and Tekken 8 trailers got me intrigued. A lot of good lineups w/ GOW, Crisis Core as well and Zelda (likely in the coming year or 2).
