    Also, DoA1/1U had a 2-point hold system. All high and mid strikes could be held/parried simply by simply pressing the hold button and all low strikes by pressing down and the hold button. DoA++ has this system as well but added the 6-point counter system while a character is in "Critical" state.

    Mostly correct, but DoA++ actually had a 6-point hold system. Each strike (high, mid, and low punches and high, mid, and low kicks) had separate counter inputs as grap3 explains here... http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/567677-dead-or-alive/65414310

    Not exactly a good first impression with this game...

    First off, when you get knocked down, to get up quickly press the left directional (if you are on the player 1 side, right directional if you are on player 2 side) and the block/hold button, as if you were doing a mid-punch counter.

    Yeah, I meant 1p+k, 44, 1p+k, 44, repeat. But your p+k, h, repeat works the same way. I was testing it and actually just holding down 1 while alternately tapping p+k and hold is actually the easiest way of doing it. This way you won't have to worry about pulling off the 4p+k by mistake. But...

    I can too... But it takes some getting used to. It's like 1p+k, 1, 1p+k, 1, 1p+k, etc. as opposed to just spamming 1. And yeah it's easy to screw it up, if you aren't careful. I've been practicing too, though, and it helps. Just takes some getting used to.

    But what's interesting is that Rikuto is one of the biggest proponent's for banning her. I don't understand it... Did U really buff her that much from vanilla? Not to mention that it would seem kind of hard to pull off Tina's 364T on a single HiC unless you're fairly certain when your opponent...
