See that's what people are failing to see. In those 2 match-ups 3H+K is great; in match ups against characters with a lot of good mids, it wont work as well.

I'm doing it on reaction to crush Hitomi's hi/low strings. lol If you watch the match again, you'll see significantly less of it against Ayane. If we're on the topic of skill though, go back and watch me interrupt Ayane's delay's/free cancels on reaction. :)

Jann Lee's 1p can be held after H+K. Or you can just SE and 1p puts him at disadvantage I believe (if not the follow up is unsafe). Best option is H+K, 6k, H+K, CB. Zack has no parries or sabakis.

Zack is faster than 'Busa, there's no reason to play defense. Every character plays defense the same, saying a defensive so and so will beat so and so means nothing. You forgot Mila's 2p ^^ Gives her +1, making her already nonsensical speed greater.

Lol at the word "spam". It's her best attack: it crushes highs and lows, it's -4, then sets up her ground game. If they had stopped it they'd have gotten tackled, thrown, etc, etc. It's DOA, I'm gonna blow you up with something till I have a reason not to.

Gen Fu can't guarantee half your life from one guess, Lei Fang can. Gen Fu doesn't have the crushing ability Lei does, the range, or the tools.

A pseudo is a pseudo. The only thing about Helena's is she can do them from every height; that's not a good analogy. How much do you actually know about the other characters? Bass's aren't even that good.

Helena can't do anything about Gen Fu's offense, so she certainly should care. Gen Fu can catch people with a high enough launch, giving him a similar effect to Helena's pseudo. I think you need to verse yourself more in other characters. 'Busa has them, Mila has them, Hitomi has them, Bass...

It's the opposite, really. Saying the word spam is scrubby. :p Also, you saw it so much against Hitomi because it shuts down most of her High/Low mix ups, and I knew Worm was going to react with 1p. If he had stopped you would have been seeing tackles, 6T, 66k, or 66p.

Reaction does, definitely, but punishment is really bad in DOA. There's also amounts of guessing in punishment because of string delay.

I'll always say Jann is better than Lei for the same reason, he just has easier access to his damage. Lei is right below him, though.

Julius didn't really say anything. The game is all guessing, you can take a chance and take the same damage if you're wrong, depending on the situation you're in. You don't HAVE to do anything you don't want to, but if you don't hold you're gonna keep eating CB's.

Lei doesn't need a burst to get her damage, she has better crushing ability to make up the speed, and her 66T is an OH...

Jann Lee and Lei are better than everyone. THey have superior damage/tools than everyone else, and do less guessing in general. Helena can't be that high because she has something that other characters have, too. I'm not really sure if Busa has a match up in his favor outside Bass or Alpha...
