The favortism is the by-product of being the main character/poster-girl of the DoA series. Of course she will get a bunch of spotlight from that alone. That doesn't mean it has any relevance to this contest especially when there is gonna be a wide variety of costume submissions.

Featherweight should be reserved for 152. She is an offensive maniac, but her defense is gutter trash so it balances out (in theory). I'm not seeing anything from P4 that screams she must be featherweight because of OP shenanigans so she would likely be in the same weight class as regular Kasumi...

Ah now that you mention it yeah that is true Jann didn't even accept the trophy/victory celebration since he left in disappointment. He could very well not enter the next one because he develops an obsession with Rig and other strong fighters so can finally get to sit in the big boy table for DoA 6.

I don't personally think he needs one either, but the input commands is silly for the amount of damage delivered if you complete all the steps. Edit: I don't want to get sucked into this Raijin discussion (I haven't touched Hayate in months anyway) anymore then necessary so gonna drop it.

You would expect the Raijin to be the strongest throw in the game with the stupid amount of difficult level required to pull off 100% consistently, but sadly that is not the case. There would be much less complaints if Raijin got a damage buff.

What did they do to Ein? Better not be another nerf. In terms of P4 playable difficulty curve, I bet she will be harder for a DoA character in general, but if you played higher execution characters in general before then she won't be nearly as hard to utilize.

Only boss character I was remotely interested in playing was Genra and even then it would have to be separate purchase from Tengu/Raidou. I might buy a bundle of them, but that would mean a reasonable price and me wanting to help out TN.

This 100%. TN just revealed P4 out of nowhere and got it over with. Nothing wrong with a clone character (that plays fairly different from predecessor) in design, but hyping the character for several months like it's the messiah of all new character reveals is ridiculous. Which is a shame...

lol hella optimistic thinking that Alpha 152 won't come back in DoA 6. Especially with her simple ass design that doesn't require elaborate costumes, recycled moves, and filling the glass cannon archetype for the game. I wouldn't count her out yet for story reasons either because who knows if...

So until a direct denial message from TN happens or when the game stops being developed assume each "speculated" character is fair game for being a future addition. Especially when we don't know jack past Phase Four.
