RISE UP! Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC

Then you honestly don't understand 3S. Urien and those unblockable setups were one of those things that came out mid way through the game's competitive life (when Tokido first demonstrated them at Evo agaisnt JWong I believe) that started to break the stranglehold that Chun and Yun had on...

RISE UP! Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC

Except, as demonstrated by Capcom's own slide (which color codes the cast with purple for the 4 newcomers, blue for the Alpha characters who weren't in IV, and green for what we now know as SFII characters), no SFIII characters are making it into the launch roster. The only probably characters...

RISE UP! Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC

Someone's obviously never played 3rd Strike (and probably doesn't even understand the game). Urien and Oro are some of the hardest characters to learn in that game. You can't even being to play Urien competitively unless you learn how to charge partition. If you can't do that, then good luck...

RISE UP! Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC

Everything we've seen so far seems to point more to pure BJJ, except that she might have a fireball.

RISE UP! Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC

Based on Ken Bogard's leak (which is the only legit leak, since he only mentioned the 4 new characters and got Rashid's name right), it's probably Laura.

RISE UP! Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC

Not surprised. Remember this slide from the SDCC and Evo panels? The color coding here just about confirmed 8 SF2 characters. All we need to know is who is the last one.

Them's Fighting Herds (New Fighting Game inspired by My Little Pony)

The funny thing is that the reset heavy nature (thanks to the revised undizzy meter) means that combos are actually short. It's just that some idiots can't tell the difference between a long combo and short ones strung together with resets and complain even though the "combo" that killed them...

Them's Fighting Herds (New Fighting Game inspired by My Little Pony)

But Argentus sure won't like it. I mean, it's not even out and he's already calling it a "masher".

Them's Fighting Herds (New Fighting Game inspired by My Little Pony)

It's also combo and reset heavy, with no real burst system.

RISE UP! Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC

The only really high thing with the minimum specs is the graphics card. Everything else can be found in any 3 year old mid range comp or laptop.

Them's Fighting Herds (New Fighting Game inspired by My Little Pony)

Well it was supposed to be an MLP based fangame (MLP Fighting is Magic) until Hasbro hit them with a Cease and Decist. Also, MLP Friendship is Magic creator Lauren Faust is directly involved in this. And before I forget, this is running on Mike Z's engine that he first used in Skullgirls.

RISE UP! Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC

You have to remember that people outside North America, cannot pre-order the game to get into the beta. Rather they have to apply whenever Capcom opens applications. PC beta in the west is going to be handled the same way as PS4, via pre-orders.

RISE UP! Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC

The weird part is that they're using bits of Lili's neutral standing animation from SFxT and not recreating her original stance from Alpha 3.

Well hopefully that's the case. But what we've seen so far stinks too much of Maximum Impact.

RISE UP! Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC

It's a temporary measure since prior to that, we were hit with something like 60 new bot accounts every day.

The King Of Fighters XIV Thread

Looks horrible. Model quality looks like a late 7th-gen budget title. Stages seem to have bad textures and low polygons. Nothing in this screams "I have to be on PS4". Animations are also looking meh for now. Meanwhile, that stage seems to hint at 3D movement, which doesn't belong in a proper...

RISE UP! Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC

I have to point out that the original leaked list from Ken Bogard only included the names of the four newcomers plus an unnamed boss. Everything else that lists those names just copies that bit from his post (which he later pulled). So it's likely that the only things that were truly "leaked"...
