It's not about the online lag, but the 8 frames of OFFLINE input lag which add up to the usual online delay.

It's not, I've just checked again in training; I've had Murasaki, Gehaktbal and Mustafa stagger out of it in matches and it wasn't because of an input delay on my part, but you have to stagger really fast. You can ask them if you don't believe me.

Yes, they decide if it's good competitively or not; appealing to the casual masses means less competitive quality for the game as they are mutually exclusive.

What guaranteed set ups? Gen doesn't have any as far as I know; even his SDS isn't guaranteed. I'm sure you like 6, you were probably the target audience, but I haven't heard off any top player that thinks 6 is better mechanics wise than 5.

The whole game is braindead, it was developed with the mashy scrubs in mind to enjoy it, which they couldn't in 5, a mashers safe space DOA. So glad it was thrown out of EVO, totally deserved by its low quality.
