If you think about it, all of ryus current outfits are from Hayashi games. He has none of his costumes that were featured in an Itagaki game only. Red muffler, Shadow warrior, Biometal, and Ninja of the future. Anyways, the throwback outfit was in sigma2+, so there's hope for that.

I personally find the high hold the strictest, mid the middle, and low hold the easiest, although in lag yeah I've had the small delay with the mid hold screw things up sometimes.

Landing HiC holds consistently is pretty much impossible, I mean not even Master does it. it's an extremely small window, and you have to predict the attack in the first place, best thing to do is just practice till you can get the input every time for all 3 holds, good thing is they still do...

I can't really get into the dmc debate cause I haven't played any of the games. As for Ryu, I would of course love to see him get stronger, as to what limit I dunno, his strength is primarily based off spiritual power so who knows how strong he could get.
