The ridiculous part is that they know exactly what Ninja Gaiden fans want. It's not like there's some huge divide in the fanbase where some of them like mist in place of blood, or enjoy having weapon upgrades capped by Chapter progress, or think that "Hero Mode" fits the premise of these games...- Brute

According to that article, the only change in "Version D" is with respect to a very specific "cruel scene" in Razor's Edge (presumably when Hayabusa slowly murders that blubbering British bloke in the first level), and that there are no changes to any content in the first two games. Judging by the clip of the Muramasa cutscene, it looks like Ninja Gaiden 2 will be without gore/cutscene dismemberment, ie: Sigma 2 on PS3. Still hyped AF for this, however.- Brute
