Playing with the update and yeah the costume system is MUCH better. Points went to 2 costumes for the character I played in arcade. No new intros from what I saw, played Leifang so maybe some characters don't get them- zoo

I personally prefer DOA5, not only because it had more content but I had more fun with it. Even from the first version it was already a pretty huge step from 4 and introduced new mechanics and features. Opinion from a newcomer, questions about the quality of Dead or Alive!
Yeah DOA always handled single player really well, this game is only lacking tag and team battles but still a solid list of modes. I think where 6 kinda failed is making them useful. Like I only ever played arcade for costumes and trophies and those are handled so differently now. No lobbies is...- zoo

I only maybe consider the first xtreme canon since it had story emphasis. I guess xtreme 3 could happen after 6 if you wanna go that far with it but it's easier to just believe xtreme isn't canon. Or ya know Kasumi, Helena, Nyotengu and Honoka really just enjoy pole dancing in their free time- zoo
