How big is the DOA FGC? Maybe its so small that its opinion and complaints have no value in the grand scheme of things so the higher ups just don't care.

Yeah, I understand your POV that they came out of nowhere but the public and players made them popular. Just compare Marie and Honoka to Rig and Mila. From what I've seen, the hate mostly comes from DOA people themselves because they think Marie, Honoka, and Nico aren't good enough and don't fit DOA's "theme". To everyone else, those three fit DOA like a glove and most people don't care about DOA enough to even start hating those three...

Going off the wiki, it's probably Kanna because she has a connection to Nyo and is an oni. That will give TN room to say "She isn't human so she can do these things to fight". I wouldn't mind seeing a brute force powerhouse character though. Of all the new VV girls, I want Nagisa though.
