Side step i think is just up and the three buttons. I dont think its necessary to push up or down twice for it to work. Similar to DOA2 arcade, you just hold the free button (in this case all three buttons) and then side step. And everyone can sidestep attack. MASTER :hayabusa:

It seems like you could just side step, since its in the game now and that move on the first part doesn't seem to recover that fast still on free cancel. I never really considered high and low moves mix up in DOA much though since most well trained players can see the free cancel and/or delay...

double low throw is a option select strat sypher. Its usually used on sit down stuns and deeper stuns since the recovery is relatively fast and the opponent is in stun or in hold animation. Main reason a second low throw is actually done is because they actually saw you hold while they recovered...
