Again just because a character is Korean doesn't mean they have to use TDK. Hapikido is a Korean martial art, or they can use something not from Korea like Krav Maga or something

So what? Just because those characters are like that doesn't mean we can't have a Korean character from Korea (south korea to be more exact). Just because you don't care for ethnicity doesn't mean everyone else has to.

It's not "ridiculous" to want a character to have a certain ethnicity. It's cool to know that a game adds more varieties to it.

It doesn't necissarily mean they have to have a Korean character with a fighting style from Korea. Not all characters have fighting styles from their country.

I wouldn't really hope for more Chinese/Japanese characters, but I will totally welcome another asian character (mainly Korean) since outside China and Japan there aren't any other types of Asians you'd usually see in Fighting games (or video games as a whole)

I just hope she (or perhaps he) doesn't get the same archetype almost all Koreancharacters get which is the Taekwondo student/master. But with Rig being the Taekwondo fighter, I feel we'll most likely get a Korean female (or male) who doesn't use it Because koreans are cool and krav maga is...

If DOA had an new akido user, I'd prefer it to be male since Momiji is the akijutsu female, plus it be nice to have more calm male character in DOA (assuming he would be) But if there is one thing this game truly needs that I hope is added in the future is........ A KOREAN FEMALE CHARACTER...

I hope so, the game should really be revealed this years E3 since it's hinted to release 2014-2015. I hope the queen finally makes her return

SPeaking of a maleish/tomboy character, I was playing this game called Lolipop Chainsaw where the main protaganist Juliet had two sisters, one of them being her older sis named Cordelia. I'd love a female like her in DOA

There is this old xbox fighting game (that needs to return) called Tao Feng: Fist Of The Lotus. It had a character called Jade Dragon and I think it would be cool if Irene had a simular fighting style like her
