I use 6P+K TLC 6K , BS 4KK , BS 6H+KK for an easy no-timing juggle.
Matsukaze listed the max damage juggle above, but it is very hard to land and requires strict timing.
Welcome to Freestepdodge! Here are my opinions of the characters' placements in the tier list:
Bass: Mid tier
Rig: Upper-mid tier or high tier (the latter is debatable)
Kokoro: Low tier
Bayman: Mid-low tier
Jacky: Mid tier
I accidentally encountered a funny Izuna glitch on the Crimson when searching for environmental combos for Momiji. Better luck next time, huh? :momiji:
Nice stream and commentary once again, Force_of_Nature!
I skimmed through it for the most part and I can already say you did a good job explaining the neutral game. Now I actually have some specific questions regarding the definition of the neutral game. You said that both players are in a...
Force tech setups using 1PP:
1PP knockdown leads to a no-timing 1_PK force tech if they miss the tech for +17 frame advantage. You can also do a dash and do 6H+K to get them back up for +19 frame advantage, but this requires some timing.
Yes.
What a coincidence. My mains appear to be Momiji and Rig as well.
Not trying to be a smartass, but a tech is instantly getting up once you touch the ground. A rising option is different in the sense that you don't instantly get up. It leaves you vulnerable to ground strikes, whereas a...
It does. You know that CPU okizeme is very different from human player okizeme? Just do Record & Play and let the CPU do the setup. Try to do a wake-up kick after you let the CPU perform the setup.
No-timing force tech setup:
6PK (knockdown) > 6K2K for +14 frame advantage.
Only works if the opponent misses the tech. If they do tech, I don't recommend doing 6K2K right after 6PK.
No-timing force tech setups:
3H+K / 1P+KPK knockdown gives Jacky a no-timing 4P2K force tech which grants him +16 frame advantage if the opponent misses the tech roll. Also after 4KKK you can do 1H+K for +14 frame advantage or 6H+K for +19 frame advantage to force tech them back up if they miss...
Force tech setups:
I just found out that after a 66P knockdown you can whiff P and then do 3H+K to get them back up for +17 frame advantage. Whiffing the P makes the setup no-timing! Alternatively, you can do a quick dash and 1K to get them back up for +15 frame advantage, but this requires...
No timing force tech setup:
After a 4PP, P6P or 66P knockdown you can whiff P and then do 2H+K to get them back up for +15 frame advantage. Whiffing P makes the setup no-timing. This obviously only works if they don't tech roll. If they do tech roll, don't follow up with 2H+K.
Whiff punishing wake-up kicks is also an option. Learn the range of your moves and punish the wake-up kick in its recovery frames. You can Korean Back Dash for example and then punish your opponents' wake-up kick with your own move. Some examples of moves which can punish wake-up kicks:
