No, he's post game but if you ever wanted to completely beat KH2FM... It's best to aim for the Growth Egg and do the Mission with NeoOchu...it's an absolute pain in the ass since you will be spamming Death with Vanille but once you get it, it pretty much makes the grinding so much easier.

Looking at GameFAQs, Shoryuken and a few other forums...I'd say that yes, people is pretty "hyped" over the trailer and the Story Mode as a whole.
