DLC honestly isn't really that bad, the issue is that there isn't enough variety. The Halloween DLC isn't really that bad and most of the time people get pretty hyped over it(I only really got made at the past years' Halloween event but it was mainly the fact that you can just spam entries...

It's more of the graphical presentation that's the problem, not the artstyle itself. And I do agree with Russian and Argentus at that front in that while it's better than SFIV personally, it still is pretty bad even by 2D standards overall.
