My first DOA ever was 3. I just picked it up randomly because I just wanted to play anything that existed in the realm of video games at the time. The first character I picked up was Jann Lee. I'm a huge Bruce Lee fan so it was natural who I wanted to play as. Who knows, I may main him again...

I made a thread about this but I'll help this one out! My preference is a fight stick, but I'm very neutral about the two sides. A fight stick doesn't make one frame Akira moves or EWGFs on Tekken any easier. Don't expect a total change in skill when switching between the two. Pick either one!
