Yeah. I'm not really used to numpad notation. I'm a Tekken player (I'm new here), so I use b,f,u,d,d/b,u/f etc. I get confused with the number notations sometimes. I meant to say I got hit by Akira's shoulder attack that was headed towards the direction to where I wasn't at. I sidewalked during...

@WAZAAAAA I think the frame data is consistent, but the hitboxes however get wonky sometimes online. There was one time I got hit by Akira's b,f,f+P+K online and I was near at his back and my distance from him was about a backdash away. I tried to replicate the same scenario in offline...

Fighting games online tend to be buggy compared to offline. The mechanics and hitboxes become erratic; I got hit from where I shouldn't be.

@Forlorn Penguin I see. I didn't know it had HD games. Though most of the games I played on the original Xbox were pretty much non-HD games. I never owned an original Xbox; I only played it from a friend because I was a PS2 player back then before I got a Xbox 360. Thanks for the heads up about...

I never play non-HD games on an HDTV, like PS2 or original Xbox games. It becomes pixelated all around because of the 480p resolution getting stretched. Playing them on SDTV looks amazing, and has less input lag as well.

@deathofaninja I still play 20 year old games at the arcades, but they're getting rare nowadays because they'll eventually get replaced by new ones or they just stop working.

That's alright. As long as the main game play is good, people will still accept it. Sometimes it saddens me that games nowadays are now more focused on online playing and leaving behind the extra things like other modes that can give variety to the game while at full price like $60, and also...

I find older games more fun to play than new ones because 75% of the PS4/XB1 games lack content and other stuff. I still play 2008 games.

As long as the community still has the tenacity to support the game along with positivity, it still lives I guess. They've become very demanding for DOA6 since 2016 and losing interest with DOA5. I feel bad for them about the NEC18 announcement though.

It does make me feel left out when I see someone say "DOA5 is dead" because I'm a new player. But I understand why because it's 5 years old.
