    The 360 version will more than likely be the tournament standard due to the majority of the community's investments in it. Also, I wouldn't fear a community split, because those who are playing on the Ps3 will be adding to the community base, not subtracting.

    On another note, We need to get info from Shimbori-san, and what is his intentions(mindset) with Doa5. We can all see that this (Doa5) is an incredible leap beyond Doa4 with graphics, but is the gameplay going to do as well? Shit surprise me, make me forget that there ever was a Doa4.

    In addition of using a more dark atmosphere, the character models are updated as well as the use of self shadowing and sweat falling off of the characters.

    Dead or Alive 5 Announced!

    I can see one major Gameplay addition. When Hayabusa is hit into the Dangerzone, not only do he bounce off ala Doa1 style, it activates the crane. The crane in the video knock down a couple of pillars, changing how the environment is interacted.

    -I like this direction. Both Doa2 and Doa3 are good games. Incorporating the two will bring a greater understanding as to why this form of gameplay is not only preferred, but have been proven to be more successful in competitive circuits.

    Since this is no longer Itagaki's project, The game no longer need to be made with his philosophies(even though it didn't hurt Doa1-3). We as a community are moving forward by having that conversation with Shimbori, and by continuing that conversation with the community.
