Harada Takes a Shot at Team NINJA!!

This is already something that more than a few folk have pointed out in SRK. It's not about making inputs "easier," it's about deciding whether or not you can characters to be able to attack out of backdash. And yes, we've pointed the same thing about wavedashing in Marvel. The devs need to...

Harada Takes a Shot at Team NINJA!!

At least TN ain't making inputs hard just for the sake of making them hard. Movement at high level Tekken requires so many "exploits" like BDC you wonder why Namco hasn't just figured out how to integrate them better into the system.

    Launch Party Predictions

Bryan will secretly get himself in top 8 and bust everyone's ass with some new broken tech that he "forgot" to add to the guide, all while sipping a cosmopolitan with a raised pinky.

Looks like the game is available at select retailers.

    1. Nerfed counters 2. More guaranteed damage 3. 2 new characters 4. Better sidesteps (which should buff the neutral game) 5. Critical Burst 6. Limited comeback mechanic (Power Blows) 7. More dynamic stage interaction That's at least 7 new things that I can off the top of my head alone.

So, a game that may arguably be the best, most competitive DOA we've had in years, and Stikku hates it because of costume selection. What is this DOAW? Eventhubs? TKPlayers?

    Bikinis leaked

Because it involves time spent not fighting against other people.

    Bikinis leaked

Unlocking shizz is stupid. Ask just about anyone in the competitive FGC and they'll tell you as much. The only good thing here is that they're just costumes, not actual characters. Fuck having to delay a tournament just because a couple of setups don't have someone's character(s).

    Just a thought...Counter Teching?

Or you could just take holds out of stun. P.S. There's no punishment for timing a Just Defend in KoF/Instant Block in GG/BB/P4A wrong.

    Best character remodel.

But how can Tina not be Texan. I mean she's got huge... ...tracts of land.

    Just a thought...Counter Teching?

Agreed. If they're going to do something like this, then they might as well take a step forward and take holds (or at least holds out of stun) out of the game altogether. I dunno, less holds is always a good thing.

    Any early netcode impressions?

If it were a proper implementation (Skullgirls, 3SOE, MvCO, HDR, MvC2) you could simply increase the fixed delay so it doesn't rollback as often. A framerate hiccup screws up your muscle memory and makes stuff that works offline, not work online. In games where stuff has to be put in within...

    Stages question

I can see how weather effects in that snow level can be annoying for competitive play though, which is probably why the new one in 5 doesn't have them.

    Any early netcode impressions?

You forget the fact that we asked them to use GGPO for all their fighting game releases, and that Seth (who was, and always will be one of the FGC) pushed for it. Which is why everything that Capcom USA does will feature GGPO netcode from now on. As we've been saying in SRK, Unity and everywhere...

I'm pretty sure that there are more than a few people who wouldn't mind this.

This always happens for games in shipping hub cities like LA and NY, not surprised to see it happening here.

    Any early netcode impressions?

That's how rollbacks are supposed to work. Players like Arturo have already said that it's almost as good as offline. I myself had no problems with the game's netcode during the month or so before I dropped it. The game may have problems, but netcode isn't one of them. Heck, there's a reason why...

    Any early netcode impressions?

SFxT may have problems, but netcode isn't one of them. Actually, the netcode in that game was a step in the right direction since it was the first (and so far only) full price fighting game had implemented rollback netcode. Previously, this was only implemented in emulators and downloadable...
