It's true regardless. Unless you feel that you should only strike if you are guaranteed to "beat out all strike retaliation from any strike any character can throw out." Which would be absurd, because you'd never be striking regardless of your frame advantage/disadvantage.
Is there any particular reason why that's ill-advised?
I mean, if it's being observed then obviously the opponent isn't throw-punishing, so coming out with an evasive move is not any less advisable than any other option in that scenario.
I'm somewhat okay with it. It would be a different story if the game made sense on consoles (ie: Blizzard actually balances the game with consoles in mind). But as is: eh.
Gen Fu gets better rewards off of playing the 50/50 game than any other character. So if you're tired of working your brain and fingers then yes, Gen Fu is your dude.
No one is immune to criticism simply because they are or were your friend.
That said, why are we talking about this person? Were they screencapped in a previous page I missed?
