Yeah but its impractical.
You essentially have to die to learn an enemies attacks and ambushes.
The best strategy is to just do what you're suppose to do in every RPG... Make Numbers Go Up.
I mean its also possible to play Gears without ever using the cover system but what would the point ?
Maybe you just haven't figured it out yet.
As for Dark Souls... one really needs to be clear about is or isn't possible....
For instance... can you beat it without leveling at all... this includes Weapon and Armor Upgrades.
Good now you the difference between me and you... I wasn't wearing the perfectly functional watch...
In the this case the perfectly functional watch would be the Gaming History that definitively states what Bosses are.
Google is so impersonal... I prefer to ask here.
And like I said... the games I'm familar with didn't give me that conclusive answer.
Again... its that simple... what you basically did was shame blind dude for having no concept of what colour is.
Even if that wasn't case... shame on you for making me feel bad for asking...
Perhaps if you were nicer to people you thought were idiots they might learn something.
My inuductive reasoning was what prompted me to ask in the first place... after all.... in the games I'm familiar with the "Bosses" weren't anyones employers.
Its really that simple.
You're overlooking the problem with Ryu's DP. Yes if you're in training mode and have all the time in the world then its easy but using it in combos and as a Reversal presents problems...
Also in my analogy I was trying to point out its easier and more practical for human beings to learn...
Phase is far from Mid Execution...
His DP...
And yes 3D Fighters are more difficult to learn but its not because of Execution. Which means there's hope. Think of it like Chess vs Contortionism. Both are difficult but since chess is all knowledge then all it takes is time. Contortionism...
Even On a basic system level Street Fighter is a pain.
SF requires more simultaneous button presses and only a 3 Frame input Buffer... The cancels also requires more directional inputs.
DoA on the hand has fewer buttons, 10 Frame input Buffer and Cancels don't require excessive directional inputs.
Ryu on the Other Hand requires actual cancelling and one of his special moves is so complex that you have to change how you input his Normals to prevent him from doing the wrong move... his parry is also Shit compared to Hitomi's.
I disagree.
Lets consider the Characters in Both Games that are smack in the middle in terms of Execution.
Ryu & Hitomi
Most difficult thing you can do with Hitomi is Delays and Free Cancelling and her moves don't overlap.
@illninofan
Oh hey... sorry for taking so long.
So the reason I can't plsy Cammy no more is because of my New Fightpad.... Circular Motions take much longer to execute so that means no more Quick Dive Kicks.
And DoA is Definitely easier... By Miles !!!
@Forlorn Penguin
Words To Live By. :)
@Camel with 2 thumbs
Yeah I actually heard about that... its also why the Smash 4 & Melee communities don't have alot of Overlapping Players.
I'l be honest... L-Cancelling is Stupid.
