I hate when people say its just guessing and/or random. Its simply not true. If you try to be random or just guess, the odds will stack against you really quick. What DOA is actually about is mind games and reads, and generally outplaying the opponent, rather than just being about execution...

There's already four ways to deal with wakeups. Blocking, holds, crushes, or simply backing up. There is literally zero need for force techs. Vf clash with the system. DOA is designed for fluid movements, but vf use twitchy, sudden jerky movements. It causes issues (looking at Sarah) Power...

God I hope not. Power attacks and critbursts already minimize gameplay variety as it is. The problem with these types of mechanics is that things become a "memorize, rinse, repeat" pattern as too many people try to focus almost exclusively on trying to link into these setups for "supers".
