I did notice Reach and Range seems to be very important.
The characters that fight with long reaching Weapons can punish stuff after Substitution that characters that Fight with their Barehands can't.... unless they have a good Tilt Move.

I think thats a great feeling.... :) but I come from a long history of games I lost because I could never play well.
But I get what you mean... if you play well and lose anyway it kinda feels like: "Well... so how do I improve if I didn't do many things wrong ?"
As far as I can tell... the whole Breadth of The Wild craze is largely just a delayed reaction to how Skyward Sword dissapointed everyone.
So when BOTW came out with its "NO HAND HOLDING" Shtick everybody got excited.
Its the same story with Demon Souls... the appeal is every other game holds...
