I feel with Kokoro they switched it from the kimono for a reason. It was probably due to excessive clipping issues, but I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt and think that maybe in the end the team decided it was just a bit too bland and generic. I dunno. I'm just not a fan of that...

IMO Kokoro should have kept her C1 as it was in DOA4, much like Hayate and Ayane. Nyo is just... mmm...

Nyo and Kokoro have almost 0 novelty in their default costumes (I think "novelty" or "exclusivity" is what you're addressing, rather than "peculiarity," though that would also apply here, as well). Both are incredibly generic, and don't feel uniquely representative of their respective character...

I have essentially created two strawmen, both of which were attacked or missed simply in the spirit of the dialectic (they were actually covertly on-topic through subtle allusion, but I honestly can't say that I was expecting them to be read as such so we'll just go with: "they were strawmen")...

For the record, I never said that I loved Xianghua. But Ivy holds a special place in my box of loathing.

The main reason I've left it open is because I want to isolate this debate into one area. If I locked it right before some angry user was about to post his novella response, he'd find some way to derail another thread to try and get the last word in.

I hate Ivy and I still think that 2 is the best.
