I dunno but the broader facial features made her look more the mix she's supposed to be. As opposed to the distinctly Asian "compressed" features she had in regular release. The larger nose, wider ears, etc, made her look more distinguished, in my opinion.

Hitomis face in particular. I liked alpha hitomi when she looked a little German there.
