Some characters already have wakeup throws... If you know its coming....block or hold? Thats what I do.

In ufc/real life you can grab their leg/get up/fight back. Not like DOA where you get juggled/stunned. * there are wakeups, they just usually aren't kicks lol*

Its not as bad because you can just back up/block/counter hold/grab to punish opponents as they get up. If the opponent is knocked down, you dropped your combo, its idiotic to expect that you should get to continue wailing on the opponent without repercussions. (This is why actual combat...

You say wake up kicks are the "lazy way out" while defending the actual lazy way out of the attacker not having to deal with the attacked being able to defend themselves. "My opponent can fight back? HAX!!"

I play fighters for the characters I'm not a rushdiwn player but I still got blazbkue solely for mako to nqnaya and bullet. I got 5 vanilla solely for Mila in her c2, which I consider to be the hottest and prettiest female in fighters now.

Either way, contest wound up kind of a waste for me. Only ten winners, meaning same girls as every dlc. None of whom I even use. And then there's like, the ayane winner. Oh joy, bikini number 26.... Its funny though, Lisa is the only character I see people actually picking the bikinis for.

I see they added marth with long hair, and a blonde with a book. It seems to balance out the allstarness of Megaman, PAC Man, Sonic, and Mario being in one game, they had throw in these straight up "who?"'s like those two, and "what?" Characters like Wii fit, animal crossing, and greninja.
