@Hayabusiness
Well..... have you thought about picking up a Stylus and showing dem Fools how to make a real level ? :)
It could be fun.
Also I can't wait to read the Post Mortem on Project Spark..... if they don't figure out exactly what went wrong then its Hopeless.... its just going to...
You can Teach People how to use a Tool but you can't Teach'em Damn Good Game Design.
Although to be Fair Nintendo did put 100 Levels from 4 Actual Mario Games in there to show people what they should be Striving For....
It Didn't Work :(
LoL.... Apparently only 1% of the Levels of Super Mario Maker are Genuinely Good (probably the ones that were createdly secretly by actual Nintendo Devolopers).
The other 99% are Levels Clearly Made By Kids, and Super Hard Masochistic Abominations.
@UpSideDownGRUNT
LoL.... Great.... that means I have no choice but to use the Unity Engine.
I've been Reseaching some of the UGC Games and it seems like A bunch of them fail because of either a Lack of Content or the Creation Tools are Garbage. Project Spark seems to suffer from the Former but...
@Argentus
LoL.... during the Xbox One's Media Conference. They announced Project Spark, a game entirely about making Games and sharing them online.
It was famous until it was Eclipsed by the usual suspects, Assassins Creed and CoD.
@VAND1TA
Thats True.... After some rigorous googling I saw many complaints about the lack of Content. A problem Super Mario Maker doesn't seem to Have.
LoL... its funded by Microsoft... Console Manufacturers aren't known for Underfunding their own Projects.... especially if they are exclusives intended to help them sell more Units.
Yeah its looks like a blast but it caused me to completely forget about Little Big Planet 3. :(
Luckily now I write things down so that these games don't sneak past me again when Activision decided to takeover the entire marketing space.
