You said "he's solid" as in "he's a solid option to select in a fight." And I feel that due to the numerous amount of obstacles in his path, he is not a "solid" choice, simply because his stun game is kinda decent. I'm detail oriented and possibly OCD.

Everyone has some way. "Some way" is not synonymous with "solid way(s)."

But at least some characters do specific things better. For example, Ayane spaces better than Gen. Leifang holds and OHs better than Genfu, etc. Eliot essentially does nothing better. That's like saying "He's solid if, and only if, you win." If you're getting stuns you can do "ok" with anyone...

What niche is that? Every niche he has someone else has but better. And more. Everyone has something, but that doesn't mean it's compensating for numerous other shortcomings. Which isn't anything exclusive to him. Other people are doing this kind of thing and they're doing it better.
