A little off-topic, but as I've always said: drinking doesn't make you an idiot, it just shows everyone what an idiot you already are. If you're not a moron, you won't magically become one if you sip some alcohol, or even get a buzz.
I never said you sucked. I said that the mentality that DOA is mash-friendly is going to be counter-productive to your progress and development as a player. Thus, it's best to try and get that notion out of your head early on. The longer it feels mashy, the longer you'll want to play it that way...
They could have also made it so that if you smash someone into the double-doors with a PB, you could open-up the area inside with the Lunar Staff and statue, rather than just gating it off from the start. Jus' sayin'.
Yeah, you can actually see that area off in the distance behind the area where P1 starts. The large water running down the cliff back there actually comes from the drainage area connected to that segment.

Nope. If you're Lisa you get special to use the special rope-wire walls for some additional tricks, and the tight, electrified walls make you very cautious in your positioning, as well as your vulnerabilities (since you can lose 80% of your health in a heartbeat). It's definitely not my favorite...

I think it has to do with the game trying to save processing power by not loading all the floors of the stage in full detail. So it tries to load them all complete once it registers that someone's falling to that specific platform. But sometimes it doesn't get that area quite right and stays...
