Sidestepping in SC when no one is attacking is like VF's offensive move while the crouch dashing in DoA is more VF's. I Forget if sC has a reverse crouch dash.

Both DoA and Tekken had more nuances, or rather less so to VF. Both franchises strayed farther and farther from their VF foundation. SC had it longer until all the meters and stuff. Albeit both still retain ringouts and movement is more similar to VF, as well as a focus on neutral.

Nah, DoA is VF's special needs, masturbation-addicted cousin. Tekken has rules more akin to VF just not so much so mechanically at times. It has strike punishes, plus on block, sidestep behavior(A lil) and half-tracking etc. Tekken had the same battle designer as VF's.

Yet when I use to go to Tourneys SC had only Top 4's or no shows. DoA had its players there from what I remember at least.

Oh, no, it's better than SFV off the bat because at least it kept some form of identity and consistency with the characters. SFV could be better if they just literally add all or half of the characters featured in usf4.
