Hey, I loved playing with Tengu too and did decently with him, but there's no denying that his frame data needs to be hardcore buffed and he needs more mixup options.

But with that logic, wouldn't he go 7-3 with everyone? What is it specifically about the Pai matchup that allegedly gives him such a huge advantage?

Ninja Gaiden's monastery would be a very pretty stage indeed. They could always bring back this DOA2U stage though. I don't recall the name, but it also transitions into a type of monastery looking interior (seen at 0:47). Very lovely.

I'd actually think that Alpha would completely obliterate him if he still has the same shitty frame data from DOA4 and DOAD. Most of his moves were over 20 frames on startup and the ones that weren't were still close to it (16-19 or so). Then there's his abysmal 15 frame jab and his 15 frame 8P...

It's... passable. Not great, but passable. You can hear him grunting at 0:12 in this video. I'd prefer that they recast a new Japanese VA for Leon. It looks like we're gonna have his DOAD one again though, but I can live with that.

I personally don't want Rachel or another VF character, though it wouldn't annoy me if it ended up being Rachel (unless Tengu got the boot for her). I'd rather it be a brand new character, or at least Irene fighting with some military/CIA/special forces style. Maybe even Krav Maga. If it has...

I'm not saying that I dislike VF or anything, but this is DOA, not VF. We should get all of our DOA characters back before they tack on any guests.

Honestly, I didn't find DOA4's stages to be very good either. Nassau Station was cool because it provided frequent access to ceiling throws, but I didn't find it visually appealing at all.
