I didn't find Alpha all that hard, I just didn't like having to waste time fighting her with 17 characters in story mode, then waste more time doing it again in time attack with 21 characters.

I don't like it because I don't want to have to waste my time doing a bunch of pointless crap I don't care about before I can finally play with my main character. Unlocking Tengu in DOA4 comes to mind.

We might still have to unlock characters for online use though. I'm really hoping that everything is unlocked from the start though.

I would love to see a Krav Maga fighter, but it's more of a self defense system than an actual fighting style, so I don't know if it could truly be implemented well. Don't want another character based entirely on holds like DOA4 Bayman. Agreed. The next oldest guys we have are Bass and Leon...

Awesomeness. Where did you get the SPARTAN one? Also, is it possible to make them appear next to the other character smilies in the smilie list? Some people might never even know that they exist when they're that far down.

It's still too early for that character organization on the site to mean anything right now. Like I said, once that row fills up, they can just add another one underneath it with a 'NEXT' icon.

I'm still confident. We still have about four months left until the game launches. That's plenty of time for more reveals. Not mention that we've also got E3 in a few weeks. This game is gonna be a huge bust for me if he doesn't make it in though.
