This is actually very old news. I believe they announced the CE with the initial DOA5+ announcement, or at least very soon afterwards. Also, the CE is exclusive to Japan.

Yeah, that would be nice. The game does track the number of ranked, lobby, and simple matches you've played, so it isn't entirely out of the question.

I was thinking about that too. My guess is that you have to play 200 matches AFTER installing the patch to get them.
