Okay, I suppose that makes sense. A valid point, but that's still pretty bad that the only reason the characters were "balanced" was because holds did so much damage.

Not as far as I've seen. I'm not one in the know enough to be able to make a tier list, but from my experience and from what I've read here, the balance in DOA5 seems better than that of DOA4. In DOA4, the ninja characters, Gen Fu, Helena, and SPARTAN dominated, while most everyone else was garbage.

Jintsuriki! One of the best character themes in DOA, along with Sorrow. Unfortunately we no longer have either of them in the game. Well, actually we don't have any character themes in this one, except for I Feel for You, Alpha-152, and the Vigaku easter egg. I really wonder what would be done...

I would absolutely love to get Tengu back WAY more than Leon or Ein (though I'd love to see Leon return as well). Tengu is my favorite DOA character and my main. I simply can't get into DOA5 because Tengu is gone and there's no one like him in his place. Agreed. That pointless nerf pissed me...

The Xbox 360 version has a save file with all titles, characters, costumes, and stages unlocked floating around on the internet. Something like that might exist for PS3 too. I'm not sure if that kind of thing can be done with PS3, but I'd look into that.

Like synce said, there is evidence to suggest that there will be at least three more. No idea if we're getting more after that though. The next one might come out this Tuesday (Jan 1) as it will have been two weeks since the last one was released.

This isn't for posting our online ranks. You're supposed to express what you feel your true grade is using the in-game F, E, D, C, B, A, and S grades.

My in-game grade in DOA5 is C- and I only need one more ranked victory to bump it up to C. I won't play that one match though because I don't want to keep increasing my fake grade. Realistically, I'd say I'm E or D. In DOA4 my in-game grade averaged around C+/B-, but I'd say I was about D+...
