Why would anyone prefer 4? They better keep the timing window for holds tiny as hell then b/c I don't want to relive the nightmare that was DOA 4. :(

That's why I'm confused and why I asked about the critical threshold. What exactly changes if they up the damage on everything? :confused: Holds do NOT need to have higher damage though I hope they realize that.

I mean honestly force techs aren't really that terrible in 5 so I don't think they need entirely removed imo. On a side note does anyone know how the extended life bar will affect the critical threshold (i.e. will they stay in proportion to the original life bar or will they be shorter/longer)?

Agreed. Many fighters need improvements for Ultimate. If they could just make a few tweaks for Eliot like letting his :4::K: launcher be the move that connects with :4::P: instead of the other (useless) kick for example I'd be really happy.

That would be so great I think DOA 2 and 3 especially would look fantastic now since there were so many great stages. I was so bummed b/c they're not adding Lorelei or Aerial Gardens in Ultimate. :(

I like that idea especially for people who only play as 1 character online. That mode would force them to get out of their comfort zone.

Despite the criticism it got, Dimensions is one of my favorite DOA games and I think if they used the updated character and stage designs and changed it to a 4 point hold system it would be an awesome game. Even an upgraded DOA 4 would be great imo.

Yeah its very easy to miss b/c it's in small text but it says it on the site. I mean they are giving away almost $40 of DLC and the game itself costs $40 so I don't think that's too unfair (although there are many things TN has done that I think are pretty unfair).

Why not just spend the extra $16 to get the full priced game? That way you get all of the free DLC outfits they're offering from vanilla DOA 5 (you don't get it if you buy characters via F2P), and all of the character themes so that you can choose any song you want (Mila and Rig's themes are...
