If it has only 11 costumes, why not just buy the whole set?

They would leave the men out because its a DOA game and TN doesnt give a fuck about the men. When you say the classic characters, do you mean the original 11 characters? The pack has 17 costumes, if they would include the original 11 (or 10 if we dont count Raidou), that would still likely mean...

Its a 17 character pack, that means the 16 main girls plus :naotora:. That means its some kind of theme pack, and given the month, I really think its an anniversary costume set...

The fact that theyre keeping the november pack secret clearly means this is the anniversary thing they have planned. Its probably going to disappoint then...

The VF characters did get a few dlc costumes back in ultimate and all of them did get featured in some themes that gave everyone costumes (the ninja packs and valentine's day packs) but ya, the most they got outside those were bikinis for Sarah and Pai. Mai will most likely get at least one...

Tina's bikini when broken has an american flag pattern... again ... thats just uncreative... will still buy though... Whats to stop them from giving her something that was designed for another character? they already did that before (Rachel getting Kasumi's skeleton costume, for example)

I just noticed that this is the second time Mila got a yellow bikini, is that supposed to be her favorite color? Given her cheerleader and ninja outfit, I would have thought her favorite color was green...

My main worry about this character is that they put in flashy effects like they did with :naotora: (who i still refuse to refer to by name). :naotora:'s use of many flashy effects (like in her power blow) really turned me off to her and I hope Mai doesnt get the same or at least they tone it dow...

That's what I've been saying, boxers would stand absolutely no chance against an experienced ryu player since they can easily hold an punch they throw. Overall, only characters with a well rounded fighting style can work in doa.

This is exactly why im asking just how punch focused character can possibly work. :naotora: is proof that they can make a character that specializes in one kind of strike (in her case its kicks) but punches are another thing entirely since boxing, the most well-known punching style has no kicks...

If it makes sense for the character, that can work, i mean, look at Steve from tekken; hes a pro boxer and even he has some foot stomps and a jumping punt but the most part, pressing the kick buttons for him is a sidestep but even then, hes a puncher

Im kinda OC, I just think its strange for them to release an odd number of custumes

So it may be a 19 girl pack? Have they ever released a dlc pack with an odd number of costumes before? If theyre releasing one for all the girls, I can imagine they might do one for alpha as well then just so they have a 20 girl pack.
