    Why is DOA 5 considered non-competitive ?

I do believe you have perhaps the worst assortment of opinions that have ever belonged to another human being.

    The Fight Stick Thread

Just got this in the mail a couple days ago. Pretty awesome, though I dare not actually use it for fear of it being stolen or having the signatures being rubbed off.

Low holds should not beat standing throws.

    It's ok Thespian. I don't think you're an idiot. I just think you're idiotic.

A combination of boredom and too much DoA5...

Your early stuff was on doacentral, though i think it got wiped. Zero dragon etc is on newgrounds. The DOA band is still up on there too. Surprised you would forget you had it all there. You haven't been repressing all memories of your accomplishments, have you?

    Why is DOA 5 considered non-competitive ?

I would honestly be OK with that fact if the game had at least SCV quality netcode. ..... BUUUUUUUUUUUUT it doesnt.

Low holds should not beat standing throws.

At least I know what a hypocrite is. "Oh, I didn't say you were a hypocrite, I just said you're being hypocritical".... yea, that's like any different. I can lord over you some more and act superior in other manners. Would you like that I refer to you as lowly peasant from now on? I haven't...

    Bayman Q/A

Break shot is easy guys. Ignore the notation the game gives you, it's simply a "while rising" kick. In order words.... crouch, release your crouch, hit K. You can do this from crouch dashing, or after a low jab... whatever.

    Why is DOA 5 considered non-competitive ?

It's plenty competitive, much more so than 4. Flies under the radar because Team Ninja borrowed technology from Batman.

Low holds should not beat standing throws.

I've made no mistakes here, nor acted in hypocrisy to anything I've said. As I said before the original method of communication, making a shitload of noise on the forums, is no longer worth it. We didn't have a hardline then, we have one now. We understand exactly how things work inside the...

Low holds should not beat standing throws.

Except your reasons sucked. The only reason we were speaking publicly about the issues in such a manner was because we had no hard line to Team Ninja and it was the only way to get the issues known, despite the fact it created drama. Post E3 we had a hard line. Boom. Done deal. No more reason...

Low holds should not beat standing throws.

When I raised my issues with the hold system back in those threads, the unholdable stuns, natural combos and critical burst were not even public knowledge. When they entered the equation, literally everything changed. In fact, I spent several months repeating over and over again how it changed...

    Wall slump?

The slump is a legacy animation from older games that was not completely phased out. Some characters have certain attacks, typically throws or holds, that put people in this state. Bayman's 66H+P is one of those attacks. Other characters, like Alpha, can actually use unique moves like her...

Low holds should not beat standing throws.

Glitches and the netcode are "new" problems that warrant posting about. This isn't. Nor is what you just stated justification for adding fuel to the fire.

Low holds should not beat standing throws.

See, here's the problem. The charge happened during the battle. Remember when I said pack it up and get ready for the next battle? That's because the battle is over. It happened over several months of development. And It DID happen. We were there, arguing about it every day. Now, if you...

A combination of boredom and too much DoA5...

Shame you gave up on it, but I can respect that. I give up on crap on all the time. It's what the cool kids do! The stuff you did afterwards was pretty funny though. "If you're ever in a fight, what are you gonna do? Start motion tweening? Rip pictures off the wall and start hitting 'em frame...

Is there a way to find out what moves have invicibility?

Wakeup oriented crap tends to have invincible frames associated with it, but not all of it. Wakeup kicks do, but character specific wakeup attacks are usually fair game. The important thing to note is that with wakeup kicks, you can actually beat the kick with a strike IF you hit them during...
