Yes and No, the original is still great and available on literally everything from Gamecube to modern consoles, makes more sense to remake stuff that played like garbo and is stuck on older hardware, like the first 3 RE games, ill take a Code Veronica remake though

I remember the God of War vs Ninja Gaiden vs DMC days on Gamefaqs forums, it's been over 10 years but my feelings are pretty much the same, love Ninja Gaiden, can't stand God of War, and I didn't like DMC back in the day, but i've come to appreciate it a bit more, still not a huge of it though

Naw, they don't have to be balanced be competitively viable, just look at the Ninja Storm series, they had full on tournaments for all 4 of those games and they're unbalanced af, (basically any character with extreme offence/defense was tournament viable, everyone else was ignored)

actually now that i think about it, there are a bunch of tag animations between characters with no connection story wise, Kasumi and Bass, Zack and Brad, Gen Fu and Ryu, Hitomi and Lisa, and the list goes on, so i guess it's not always story reason = tag animation, sometime they just do 'em...

DOA5 tag animations be on some weirdness, Helena and Gen fu lost their tag intro/outro and characters who never interacted (as far as we know) all are chummy, the curse of being DLC after the story was done

most of the dubbed voice acting is actually really good, but the animation (or lack there of) ruins it, It was the same in Virtues Last Reward, I assume the lack of high quality 3D models comes from these games being originally developed for handheld consoles, and the cracks really show when...
