By rule of thumb, if any concept that is written down takes up more space than is available on a bar napkin, it's too advanced for the average dev. Fancy mathing does not a creative mind make. (and this is why I probably get put on ignore)

Holds Out Of Stun VS Marvel 3 Counter Exchange

As someone who doesn't play marvel I'd say the relation is that they get you out of things. The difference is that one of these things is a situation of the offensive player's choosing, and the other is the incredible responsibility of using ones brain to play a competitive video game.

You don't know that tatami is a square since its boundaries are limitless . It could be an eternal rhombus.

They would lose too many of the weeboo audience if they did that. SCV damn near went that route and believe me, it cost them. Remember man, core sales.

Wouldn't go that far, but at least I'm fairly confident it's got a decent chance of being seen here since we know they poke around.... Whether or not anyone from team ninja cares is entirely different. If any of them have accounts, I imagine a good portion of them probably have me on ignore lol.

Yea, well I wasn't gonna try fitting all that into their dinky little feedback tab anyway. heh.

Eve-online has a nifty little feature where out-of-game 3rd party utilities are basically allowed to request data from the core servers regarding player stats and map control information in real time. If Tecmo wanted to step up their game all they would have to do is set up a server where this...

Ah, E3 2012 for DOA.... the most anticipated yet least surprising weekend in the history of DOA. I've got my popcorn ready to be popped. If he answered that he'd be talking about it. We'll just have to be patient and wait, see?

Baymans advanced holds are hit and miss. In DOA 3 I'd say they were all fine. He was a far more well rounded character back then and they were good holds, but they not over the top. In DOA 4 it's a different story.... they did more damage on base, and many got environmental assistance added to...

Advanced punch counters are stupid easy. Don't ever submit to the thought process that countering mid and high jabs is anything but autopilot. That is pure theorycraft and it's a fallacy, they are the easiest strikes to scout for in the game, bar none. And yes, both of those are necessary...

There is enough upscaling to make a 9 hit combo do less than 1/4 of a lifebar. I just watched it happen. Does that seem like enough to you? Meanwhile, Izuna counter did nearly 1/2. You're going to have a very hard time convincing me the upscaling doesn't need a drastic boost.

Yo Master, how many tournaments you won outside of your home town that you flew to on your own dime? And how many of those were not rigged?

Do you want a tournament scene?

I just did a 9 hit open space combo that actually did less than 1/4 bar. I didn't even know that was possible. And you guys actually think damage scaling is going to hurt this game? Of course this game is boring to watch. Nothing besides an izuna is even remotely intimidating in this game...

    1. Delays on stun help the defender, not the attacker, as they are in DOA 4 with deep stuns. It makes high-counter holds easier to time. I don't know why you guys keep advocating for something that is going to make the situation even worse than it is. If you're talking about stuns that guarantee...
