Actually, surprised he didn't mention Sony/PlayStation at all when describing his own or at least Namco's strategy for Tekken. I will die on the hill saying that one of the biggest reasons Tekken became the most successful 3D FG was PS console-exclusivity. I bet you seeing Tekken being so...
I honestly don't know how anyone ever took Itagaki's 5 most hated games list so seriously, lol.
That was a crazy read tho, but I'm not that surprised to learn Itagaki has always been kind of a crazy dude. Would be interesting to see Itagaki's response to it... I'm betting he will respond to it...
Wow, if it's literally Sigma 2 running with better visuals on top, with even the original models still in the game, then would have be cool if they allowed the option/unlockable switch back to the Sigma 2 models XD I watched some comparison videos (with OG NG2) and everyone is saying how good...
Well at least in their Steam description for the game it says "The world of “NINJA GAIDEN 2” remastered with rich visuals!", I guess "The world of" is what makes the difference, lol. Remove the first three words and its untrue because recent findings show it really is Sigma 2 with a visual...
Ok, so for the Sigma games, Sigma comes BEFORE the number, and for the Black games, the Black comes AFTER the number... right? Anyone else keep getting this shit wrong? XD
I already memorized which type of pie each persona of Lisa prefers, I need to get this right too.
I've seen multiple streams of people playing an NG game for the first time because of all this hype (starting with NG2B I guess, lol). So any criticisms aside, that's enough to make this all worthwhile.
Looks like physical copies are only gonna be for PS5 and from Play Asia so far...

edit: yeah I'm pretty mad about this too >_<
Well the title and the game's description does imply that it's a remaster of OG NG2, difficulty and all, but with all of Sigma 2's content added in, so I wouldn't fault people from feeling mislead if it turns out to be more like a remaster of NGS2. If it says "Black" it should be worthy of it...
I wonder if Team Ninja could ever use Sega's Dragon Engine for the next DOA somehow, like VF6? I was just thinking it would have been so perfect if NG4 could have been done in an engine called the Dragon Engine, if not the Katana Engine.
