So Cal DOA is back! We'll be hosting a casual session this Saturday, November 30th and a possible tournament depending on attendance.

4:30PM - 5 dollars to the venue at the door, 5 to enter the tournament (Depending on how many people we get).

Yeah, of course. I'm hoping a *certain* SoCal player swings by so I can say goodbye to him, which is why I have no issues at all making the trip under the circumstances. (Even though it is, indeed, way cheaper with 5 advance to get down there!)

Something I want to point for the tournament for our organizers. DO NOT allow "any player" to take a smoke break when they're up for their tournament match. Take your smoke or meal break "when your match IS NOT the next upcoming match. Doesn't matter if it's on or off stream, DO NOT hold up the tournament bracket for any reason."

Bathroom breaks before a tournament match should have a duration of 5 minutes (max), or that player is disqualified if they cannot play their match.

Because they are upholding the tournament, it's not fair to everyone else and especially not the opponent waiting on said player. No player deserves any special treatment. All competitors are to be treated equally and fairly.

Just something I want people to keep in mind.

I also think we should play on the "Small" life settings instead of Normal life settings. Small life = 270 life, which was the default life setting in DOA5 Vanilla in the 1.03 and 1.03a patch and it balanced the game out. Normal life = 300 life and it allows for sloppy and random play, instead of more safety, better decisions, and precision.

300 life also allows for one more "un-needed" set up or sliver of health when the opponent should have been KO'd already. This isn't a good thing.
