Yes, if you like musical animes (shoutouts to Nana Mizuki) it's good anime to watch. Even if you don't like, it has some good stuff in it.
But that 1º episode... I think you know what I mean, I don't want to spoil haha.

I'd like to just mention Accel World, Horizon In the Middle of Nowhere (both seasons), and Seitokai No Ichizon.
Accel World is my pick for Best of the Year. Just watch it.
Horizon is a weird little LN adaptation with the BEST CAST EVER. EVER. If you don't know someone in this cast, you will now. The show itself is rather odd, and the first 4 episodes are a little slow, but when the first real fight is a telekinetic maid android fighting an EVA-sized battlesuit, and it's a stalemate, you're in for a wild ride.
Seitokai No Ichizon... it mixes a ton of references to other anime, solid comedic writing, and a surprisingly deep harem-seeking lead, and this show about a student council is an awesome watch. Season 2 coming soon.
As for how weird Ichizon is, well...

Personally, Bleach is my favorite of the big shonens. I tip my hat to you sir. I've always liked the six fights going on at once aspect, I feel it's cinematic. It has the slickest design and some really likable characters. Though I think Kubo needs to take a breather from just fighting and work on some character development. I think the series might be redeemed in the eyes of it's detractors to a great degree if he'd do that. I guess we'll have to see what impact any of the recent deaths have on character development. (Provided they... you know, stay dead.)
I always felt Naruto was the worst of the big shonens. The fights are sometimes nice and I like some of the characters like Kakashi and Bee, but the writing and art style are in my opinion terrible. By his own admission the author has stated he doesn't know how to write women. The anime has to have some of the worst fillers in existence as well imo. Unlike Bleach's self-contained fillers these ones have main plot elements mixed in so you're forced to watch a lot of them. To each their own though. I think every anime/manga has certain indelible elements for some people that are forgettable for others and these may not translate the same for one person as opposed to another. Some people might like ninjas or hate pirates for example or hate transformations or like catch-phrases and these things will ultimately effect how they'll personally appraise a show.
As an aside my favorite anime of all time is probably the produced for television Berserk series.
Very good show. Episodes seem to fly by though. If you need something to fill the time, given your top ten list, I'd like to recommend "Future Diary."
Okay, it's official. This needs to be the new ending to Mass Effect 3.

Oh man, I LOVE Cromartie High School, and the Internet Troll clip almost had me in tears XD I haven't seen it since it was last aired on "Tech TV" around the same time as R.O.D. or Colorful, so I'm definitely gonna check it out as soon as I finish binging through the rest of Hajime no Ippo (currently on episode 45).
I'll just mix things up a bit and talk about my favorite manga. For those who've never heard of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, I suggest you read it since it's the best manga on the face of this whole planet! Mainly for phenomenal storytelling, action so thrilling and unpredictable that it will have you at the edge of your seat at every panel, insanely flamboyant, hardly ever falls within typical shonen stereotypes, unique style, creative protaognists/enemies, great sense of humor, and above all else, IT'S MANLY!!!
No other manga on the planet exists for me (except Berserk and Fist of the North Star). For those who've been in the dark about the series, you guys should know that alongside the recently announced CyberConnect2 adaption, it's getting its own anime traversing all 8 parts. Here's a trailer showing footage of the very first arc (Phantom Blood) that's set to air this very month.
A second season focusing on the 2nd arc (Battle Tendency) has already been confirmed to be in the works. And that arc has to be my most favorite simply because Joseph Joestar is the man, plain and simple. I've read all the way up to Steel Ball Run so far, and I'm just dying to see Part 6: Stone Ocean animated one day. There's also absolutely no chance in heck that this series will ever get licensed for the states since the copyright issues regarding the series will be a massive pain in the rear. There are tons, and I mean TONS, of characters themed and named after musical references. Like Aerosmith, Sticky Fingers, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Vanilla Ice, Killer Queen, Devo, Rubber Soul, ACDC, Jumping Jack Flash, Jail House Rock, Rolling Stone, and even Notorious B.I.G. for that matter! I'm surprised there hasn't been a character named Tupac yet XD
Getting to the point, read the manga, watch the OVAs, play the Capcom fighting game, and look out for the anime this month if you want to get into the series. Or better yet, watch the Abridged series of the OVAs based around the third arc (Stardust Crusaders) since everyone's undoubtedly seen Jotaro Kujo and the gang a million times already.

One advice. After you watch the anime (Mirai Nikki or Future Diary), read the last manga chapter of the series.

13 Assassins was great. Have you seen When the Last Sword is Drawn? Came out around the same time as The Last Samurai. Its a little longer and doesn't have a ton of action, but I enjoyed it quite a bit and thought it was a pretty solid movie. I also just watched Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai, the Takashi Miike remake of Harakiri from 1962, and thought it was pretty good as well.
