Thanks! Is that the window for HiCs? I get a ton of those more so than HiC strikes!
Punishment on block is always NH. If you're getting HiC, the opponent is holding the moment they're at disadvantage which is stupid after an unsafe move.
Lady Tengu said:I want to learn Ayane and make her my main but my friends say don't bother but I really like Ayane! Thing is I just don't know what to do.
What would you like to know about Ayane?
Here's a good place to start:

The first thing you should do when you learn Ayane is to acquaint your self with her Integrated Movement system. I.e. Get used to all her different forms of movement and moving around. Utilizing 8P, BT8P, 1P+K, 7P, BT9, BT Stance, BT66, and a special movement dubbed the "Hajin Dash" (i.e. 8P~H or 8P then press guard to turn around and block).
The next thing to do is to learn the ranges, speeds and frames on Ayane's pokes such as P, PP, K, 6P, 6K, 2P, 1P, 3P, 3K, 3H+K, etc. Zoning is Ayane's specialty so knowing the ranges on her pokes is key, along with properly managing Back-Turned Stance.
