So can you unlock titles in VS mode or is it only single player and online

how come low punch and kick were two seperate hold inputs? is it like that for everyone?

They're not. I flip flopped sides a few times but she only has one and it's still 1H for both. Watch again and you'll see what I mean. The game shows you every counter you can do in Command Training.

Alpha looks friggin cool

She LOOKS very cool. She's pretty awful, though. To test, I ran her against Rikuto when he was over for games earlier. I won the very first match we fought, then proceeded to lose about 21 more in a row before taking a second. She has no wake up kick and if she's against a wall she's completely dead since you can't get people away from her. She's all shenanigans and while she's completely fun to use when your friends have no idea what she's doing, give them about five to ten matches and they'll start smacking you around if they're even passable at the game. Once you get over the fear of what she can do, you realize she really can't do much at all and just rush her down.

Thats a let down, i was hoping they would change Alpha up to be more playable competitively. Ill probably stick to playing her in offline modes, since the cpu normally sucks. Except when you play legendary, they just counter EVERYTHING!!!

Have to agree i also preferred tengu and Alpha just seems like a straight up copy of Dural from VF. What can i say i liked the boss characters better in past DOA games.

I dont play Vf but was Dural just a compilation of Vf characters moves? Alpha just looks like Kasumi, but she does have unique moves that look like Kasumi's moves, with her added twist.

They probably just comparing Dural with how she looks with Alpha 152 who kinda looks like a cross between Dural/Kasumi design. Fighting wise I would say Raidou(DOA1) was more like Dural. Not Alpha.
