Yeah, I really want Eliot to look badass, no more of these lame costumes(Sailor -_-) and his 4th costume in DoA4 could have been a really nice costume with a few adjustments to make it less, well you know.

I'm not trying to argue semantics, but didn't they do the same thing for Ryu and Ayane as guests in their games? I agree with you though that does make sense. I gotta say I'm a little bummed out about Momiji not being a character for DOA5(according to the list anyways), I guess I got my hopes up when I heard from a interview somewhere that if Momiji did well in NGS2 she'd be considered as a character.
I also hope Ein and Tengu will be DLC or unlockables... I know this from the demo, but I hope it's wrong or just not complete considering the demo itself was 15%.
A far better choice for cross-brand pollination as shes a better choice and to be honest a more interesting character then Rachel or Sonia...or even NG3's Mizuki McCloud(dat last name is cool tho). On a similar note, Hayabusa having a Throw Resembling the Underworld Drop would be dope....that and his Fiend Costume from NG2 complete with ArchFiend blade would be sick...
From what I've heard Akira and the other VF characters will have their same move list from VF5, in addition to whatever TN and Sega decide to add to them because after all they are in another game engine that plays differently. I think if Rachel were to ever join the cast that she gets Spartan's move list plus more of her own unique stuff that she had in NG. When I think of Rachel, I think of a woman almost amazon-like and she'd fit the size of Spartan. Reminds me of Tina and Christie mixed together and heavier.Rio was a pre-established character already(complete with anime and manga to boot, not a fighter but has God like Luck!), Momiji being exempt is a bummer considering she would have fit and boosted the ninja count to 5
Creating new characters and movesets come with the territory, even the VF characters will have new animations on their moves, I doubt their stuff will be copy and past from VF even if they are 3D models. You can't you that as an excuse....
I saying that it will be new animations, something that not every DOA character will have the luxury of...sometimes it's not needed....DOA4 idle stances were fine, and most moves that were re-animated looked nice. Thing is...there is alot of shit thats still the same....and we all know thats kinda bad(just because VF does it doesn't make it a good thing ) While the move it self isn't bad Kasumi's has been the same since DOA2....Some guys are into that sort of thing Im not one to judge.....but I don't get on the Izuna Drop because it's as timeless as a Shoryuken.

Funny thing you mention that. Ayane had a different win pose where she crossed her arms in one video(Actually, I think it's the Hitomi vs Ayane video that TN released after Akira video), but now all I ever see in the DoA5 videos is her little ninja pose with the two fingers.
