uhm. i don't like customization system.. i don't want to see what they do with alle the beautiful chars. i hate the mods on PC too.. they are all so terrible ugly. >.>

but i like it when you can make your own char in a game. with that i don't have a problem

I get what you're saying but in any game with character customization you're going to have those people that dress them up in little clothing. With this feature added, you can literally make your idea of a perfect outfit. Plus the worse they can do is have them in underwear and a bra, we basically get that as dlc already lol.

Are we just going end up with nonsense like Bryan Fury with pigtails and fairy wings and a magic wand? Then no. I'd rather not.

I guess I wouldn't mind color edit though.

Bryan who? I was thinking more of a "they would wear" type of thing. Like in DOAX2 how certain girls had certain swimsuits. They should only be able to wear clothes parts that they would actually buy.

While this seem to cut down clone costumes because colors and patterns will be an option, TN wouldn't just stop there.

They'll go even worse like selling pattern and special color such as gold, silver, pearlescent, etc bullshit for 2 bucks.

Currently they even sell old costume designs and don't even give a discount on that. Request or not, it's still an ass choice, tbh.

But look at the bright side, you could also get pimphachi, kof cosplays and sentai power rangers.

Like how you could make a homer astaroth or stalin vs Hitler.

And these were possible with Base costumizations and not those you had to buy. Then again, I don't want to pay TK any more money for DOA, so I guess I'll pass on the whole costumization mode in doa6

Bryan who?
A Tekken character. Modeled off of Rutger Hauer's character in Blade Runner, a crooked cop who met an unfortunate end dealing with drug dealers. He was then reanimated as a cyborg with an insatiable lust for power. Violent and mentally unstable.

This is Bryan Fury...

And this is Bryan Fury on customization...

DLC milking can be imagined for everything. In a parallel world we could have "Moves DLC":

You have the basic moves punch, kick hold throw, for the 3 levels (up, mid down), but if you want specific moves you buy them. You want onyoin + J.O Cyclone + ... just buy them one per one. You could also buy a set of move. For instance "set of move from Helena" you could buy for your Bayman.

That will wreck the game. That's funny to think about it.

Every kind of shit can happen these days. Game developers are like mafia.

Some developers even sell cheats and go away with it. So I'm here waiting for TN to sell voice option and moveset packs.

it's the business model from collecting card games (Magic,....) transposed to fight games. We can compare characters to Decks, moves to cards, starting frames to invocation costs.

Why not Pokemon card game style? LOL

"To let Kasumi perform xxx attack, you need 2 Ninja Energy and 1 Fire Energy. Go to Playstation Store to purchase DOA Energy?"

"You tried to counter xx_insertplayername_xx's attack, but you have no Counter Energy left. Go to Playstation Store to purchase DOA Energy?"

:p

If we do customization mode, then do it the SFXTK way. Allow us to only color edit and add accessories to the costumes that Team Ninja releases as DLC. Because I've seen what people have made in Tekken, Soulcalibur, and Virtua Fighter games and most of the customizations are ugly cosplay of characters in other games. The reason why a color edit would work is because it would definitely cut down on costume spaces that are basically palette swaps. For example, Ayane's C4 and C6 should not be considered two different costumes, since it's basically a choice of jacket or no jacket. Same with Eliot's C2 and C4, but I vastly prefer C4 because I like the outfit without the jacket and hat. And don't get me started on Leifang and her costume slots with color palette swaps with her C1.

But tekken's customization mode is a lot better. I like the unlimited combinations. I like looking completely different from the other players.

In games featuring any kind of customization, bunch of people will tend to make clogged-septic-tank level of mix&match.

Sure it's an eyesore to meet through online mode, but I personally really only give a f*ck on how cool mine is.

Sounds like them crappy "pay-to-win" facebook games

2) Unreal Tournament 4, First Person Shooter. It's still under development, but they have the intention to create an official paid mod system. Someone makes a mod, he submits it to the developers to be approved, and every time someone buys that mod, both the developers and the modder earn money from it. Theoretically, this could be done with DLC outfits too.
This would be the best option, though I don't like the idea of of games being flooded with low quality things it's possible to keep it under control if its done like UT4. They could easily create different classes, you could still sell the not so great ones but don't have them visible online, then have TN select the ones they are happy with included in game patches so they're visible online. If there's any official support content quality will be far higher than casual modding as well, it's not uncommon for game developers to work on UT4 items in their spare time as a hobby.

I see a lot of people complain about cosmetic DLC, to me it seems better than the alternative. It's better for people to spend money on non-gameplay items than having gameplay compromised to try and have more mass appeal or having any sort of pay to win systems.

Even if they were to include multiplayer mini games or less competitive alternate game modes it's unlikely to be a negative, people would play multiplayer more in general.

If they had a unreal tournament 4 style shop, even if I hated every single item on there it would probably massively increase the amount of players and generate lots of money for the game. So it would still provide an indirect benefit to many people not even interested in those sort of features.
