Too much synthesizer in Mila's theme for me to really enjoy it. More guitar and less synthesizer and I would be okay with it. If the title of the song were changed to something else I would be happier with it ("Roar of the Crowd" in an MMA environment does not equal silly synthesizers). It kinda fits the whole DOA vibe but it is still pretty out of place compared to just about every other song (like
Russian Roulette. Seriously, wtf. I never would have imagined that was Bayman's song).
Rig's theme seems to fit him better than Mila's does (oil rig worker to go with the "mechanical" sounds, mysterious dude with the deeper tones). Mila may be a happy-go-lucky hard working extravert but no, she is also an MMA fighter. MMA events are loud, synthesizers are not considered loud enough for loud events except in the song
Frankenstein. As a DOA song "Roar of the Crowd" is good, as Mila's theme not so much.
Back on the music track, everybody is going back to DOA2 (even the 3 and up characters, dammit I will make it work) and the desert stage is getting Ultimate Weapon. Now I just get to hope for Zack's and Bass' old shouts.
