Hey, have you seen the new kasumi mouse pad ( last team ninja tweet: http://t.co/zaQjPnzDQe ). It seems Kasumi's hair are tied behind her neck, no? And what is the stage behind? It looks like sakura but I don't recognize the red roof. A new stage?

If Rachel made it into the game, what would make her unique? Haven't gotten around to playing the NG games yet, so all I know about her is that she uses an axe, but you can't have weapon users in this game, so how would they go about making a style for her?

My only real problem with her getting in would be having yet another ninja. Her outfits are insanely hot though, so I'd be okay with it in the end

Well first off you look at her and see what makes her unique aside from her weapons she two things that stick out her role and her twirl.

her roll is when you dodge right infront of an enemy she will roll on top of them and either go behind them giving her a wide open target or pry your head off with her axe.this being a non-lethal game I'd just replace it with a neck snap(because DOA) or throw.

Her twirl would be her enhanced dodge,basically she spins out of the way this was a highly effective move in NG and would be a great asset in DOA

Rachel is a fiend hunter so essentially what you want to create first is a martial art that you could use to logically fight fiends with and THEN adapt it for use against humans.with new line of thought I shall day dream about this and attempt to come up with more.

Ranked doesn't really have a point anyway. Anyone with half a brain isn't judging a player's skill by their online rank.
Perhaps that would be different if TN made a somewhat decent netcode, but they haven't been able to do that in a while (since NGS2 at least). And even still then I can't imagine most players "respecting" online rank.

It's something to work towards.spending hours online with no visible sighn of progression gets old quick,people expect to be rewarded for their commitment to something.

Getting a title that means 3k wins with one character online is something. Not something great but y'know, neither is online rank.

Going by that logic, the only real reason they'd do that is to make a player seem worse than they actually are to make them feel better about themselves or a specific person or persons they look up to.

To me, online matches (especially ranked ones) are not that important and are not to be taken seriously. Sure anyone can win online, but it's just luck and lag parties. I learn a whole lot more offline than online, because it's a more legitimate and appropriate way of competing.

With Ninja Gaiden, the challenge is always the same. Beating the game means you endured the same challenge the rest of us did, which warrants praise. DOA online rank does not ensure or even indicate that due to selective opponents, random lag spikes, etc.
